The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins "Book Two"

I have just finished reading the second book in the trilogy and can hardly wait to start on the third. Haven't read a book this quickly for ages!  It's a sign of a good story when you think about the characters and the story line when you are not reading the book.

Katniss and Peeta have returned from the 74th Hunger Games as victors, at the same time inadvertently making an enemy of President Snow.  The book tells of their new life as victors, but also has them continuing the fabrication that was created during the games, of them being in love.

Towards the end of the first year they find themselves thrown back in the arena when the Capitol introduce a twist and announce that for the 75th Hunger games and in honor of the "Quarter Quell", an event that occurs every 25th year of the games, their will be 24 victors from previous years competing for their lives.

As compelling as the first book, I recommend this to anyone interested in a good story.
